Well it looks like George Zimmerman walks away from yet another brush with the law unscathed.

Courtesy of the Washington Times:

George Zimmerman — the Florida homeowner who made national headlines for shooting and killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin — will not be charged with aggravated assault stemming from a Jan. 9 incident after all.

State Attorney Phil Archer announced Friday that his office is dropping its case against Mr. Zimmerman, who was accused of throwing a wine bottle at his girlfriend, ClickOrlando.com reported.

“While it is clear that the officers had probably cause to arrest Mr. Zimmerman, which was affirmed by the circuit court judge at initial appearances, the subsequent recantation by the victim of her initial statement along with new documents provided by the victim and her attorney precludes my office from proceeding further,” said Mr. Archer in the media outlet.

According to the State Attorney's office the woman decided not to press charges and recanted part of her story.

I guess the only way that George Zimmerman will ever have to face justice is if he actually kills somebody.

Oh wait, that didn't happen either.

Since Zimmerman killing again just seems like a cosmic inevitability, perhaps the best case scenario would be that when he finally does go to prison it will be for killing his lawyer.

Oh dear God, I laughed at and appreciated the wit of your post. Seriously, no snark. Thank you.

I can't help but think, one of these days, Zimmerman will come up against someone who just as nasty and vile as he is, or perhaps even much worse. My hope is that justice, finally, will be served, and Zimmerman will know agonizing fear and feel the full-blown wrath of his would-be victim. The world will be a slightly better place afterwards.

The only way this waste of skin gets thrown in jail is if he shoots a cop. This is just going to feed into his psychosis and victimhood.

Somehow I don't think even THEN. Look at the guy who shot a (black...) police chief THREE TIMES and was not even arrested. (The cop luckily had just put on his bullet proof vest)

This sorry excuse for a human has even more than nine lives. The only way he will be stopped is by a 'random' bullet. And then the shooter will go to jail for getting rid of this scum.

I hear poison is silent but deadly. Wait until Georgie runs into a silent but deadly, vengeful female that he mistakes for another airhead.

I'm sure we all have our own scripts.

So far, he has seemed to reserve most of his violence for women who can easily be intimidated. However, since he cannot seem to control his temper he will, eventually, unleash his anger on someone who will not be frightened into submission and he will be on the receiving end of the violence.

It just seems inevitable that he will die a violent death.

Florida home owner? He doesn't own a home. The racial bias in the media is overwhelming. They call Sherman from the Seattle Hawks a thug, who was a straight A student and a graduate from Stanford. Yet Zimmerman, the real thug, they call a homeowner.

    Also in Florida

    http://www.dailykos.com/story/2015/01/30/1361295/-The-Front-Yard-Gun-Range-Just-Feet-From-My-Neighbors-Kids-Bedroom-Window

"This is not a "back yard" gun range. It's an amateur and reckless set-up in which a man has to stand in his front yard and fire toward his house (and therefore at the house behind him), at a pile of sand held together with an old wooden palette.

The pile of sand is 8' from a neighbor's property where small children live and about 20' feet from the children's bedroom windows.

The owner of this house has arrests for DUI, cocaine and hydrocodone, and has had 2 domestic violence cases filed against him. His son has announced he is coming to the house with a "variety of guns," including an assault rifle."

And in other news, Darren Wilson has been completely exonerated in the death of the 'gentle giant', Michael Brown.

Gryphen, please do us all a favor. Either remove the animated gif at the top of the article or stop it from running. Every time I see that smug bastard in that animated gif I want to throw something at my screen.

Nope. We'll have to wait for this bloated SOB to shoot himself, or kill himself in a vehicle. The state of Florida have enough laws to protect his sorry butt, and he evidently intimidates his punching bag girlfriends with enough threats that they suddenly aren't sure he was even there the night they were attacked. Memo to Florida women...if you see this loser, run the other way.

    1. Good advice that many women won't take. They love the drama with those society rejects, even if it puts them in harm's way. Then, refusing to press charges, one hears, "I luhve him!"

"According to the State Attorney's office the woman decided not to press charges and recanted part of her story."

Something men and the local police know all too well: women sending mixed messages.

I'm for absolute equality between the sexes, but as long as women continue to torpedo themselves.......

My guess is that Zimmerman's father must be getting tired of paying people off to refuse to testify against him.

If the law was serious about serving justice all the way around, they'd arrest and prosecute the victims, who suddenly won't testify, for making false statements when they retract their accusations.

  11. Anyone else besides me "get" that the Zimmerman family seem to have as much corrupt pull in Florida as the Palin/Heath family does in Alaska?

That's why I started calling your nemesis "the Palin mafia" years ago. There isn't a Palin/Heath that's actually a judge or retired judge-with-connections like there is in the Zimmerman family, but the Palin/Heath family evidently know a few judges, cops, etc.
