I think Sarah Palin has come to realize that her endorsement is the kiss of death. Or less likely, she and I are supporting the same candidate.

Courtesy of ADN:

Former Gov. Sarah Palin has endorsed gubernatorial candidate Bill Walker.

The endorsement came at a reception hosted by Palin Tuesday night in which she told about 100 guests that she supports Walker and his running mate, Byron Mallott, because she trusts them to responsibly develop Alaska’s resources for the maximum benefit of the state’s residents, said a release from the Walker-Mallott campaign.

"Last night my family, along with Byron and Toni Mallott, and our campaign staff attended a reception hosted by Todd and Sarah Palin at their lakeside property in Wasilla,” said Walker in a press release sent Wednesday.

Okay seriously what in the hell is Walker doing associating with this poisonous family?

I'M supporting Bill Walker. Sarah Palin and I can;t be for the same guy, that is one of the signs of the Apocalypse!

This has to be some kind of sabotage.

I mean are we to believe that Palin would publicly come out in support of the guy running against her former Lt. Governor, and the guy she chose to replace her after she quit to avoid prosecution?

Unless it's because she knows that by doing so she will sabotage the Walker candidacy and help Parnell to win again.

THAT'S got to be it!

Oooh she's a tricky one.

But hey, do you know what Parnell could do to demonstrate his anger at her betrayal? He could start releasing some of those redacted state e-mails of hers, un-redacted, and perhaps supplement them with some juicy behind the scenes information that we have not yet been made aware of.

I mean I'm still voting for Walker, but it would go along way toward persuading me to stop putting pins in my "Captain Zero" voodoo doll.

I am very disappointed that the 'unity team' accepted the party and endorsement of the Sarah Palin klan. I truly think it is a big mistake as her endorsements are the kiss of death.

I've already voted for the 'unity team', but had I know this, I would have left my ballot 'blank' for the gov of Alaska.

No shit! I'm absolutely appalled! I detest Sarah Palin - she quit as our governor, she's corrupt as hell, a lair and fraud.

Will Sean Parnell now win by default? What a fucking mess our state is politically!

I seriously doubt that the Unity Ticket wanted her endorsement! SP offered it, so she can get positive publicity by being on a winning team and get people's attention away from the "brawl". She would have a hissy fit if they rejected her endorsement. As the statesmen they are and being confident that smart voters (like us) would see through her little game. There are also those few who still like SP and maybe it can help influence the people who support Parnell blindly? Walker and Mallott are not wanting to create division and drama so close to election day. They just have to grin and bear it, like all of us! :-)

The Unity Team should not have accepted her endorsement and party! She is a negative to the State of Alaska - she quit and has been proven to be as corrupt as they come. The Unity Team should not have allowed themselves to be associated w/her and her family members!

I have just talked w/five friends that have not voted as yet - were going to vote for the Unity Team and now will not. They are going to leave that section of their ballot blank as they don't want Parnell either.

Unity Team - you have really screwed this up!

If captain zero wins - the blame should go to Sarah Palin! She gave the endorsement to the unity team which normally leads to loss and the kiss of death! He eagerly took it and I think it was a huge mistake! Remember 2:36 PM my vote was cast for the unity team EARLY much to my disappointment today!

My guess is that Sarah is very very desperate for money and somebody with deep pockets offered her a big chunk of change for this endorsement.

Why else would she help one of those eeeeeeeevil lame stream media democrats over the man that she thought was the one to lead Alaska after she bailed?

I get why Palin would endorse Walker and not Parnell. Parnell wiped away Palin's only accomplishment as governor--the oil tax. It also benefits her to distance herself from the AKNG scandal. Plus, she jumped on the winning bandwagon and is hoping to ensure Walker will continue to protect her once he moves into the Governor's office.

But why in hell would Walker want her endorsement? He doesn't need it--her approval rating in AK sucks. Walker has demonstrated very poor judgment.

I don't know much about AK politics but around these parts I think a candidate would just ignore such a toxic endorsement this close to the election and soldier on. Please Alaskans, don't give into that knee jerk reaction to skip voting. You don't know the background of his "endorsement" but you do know what's at stake in the race.

My take too that her 'endorsement' as if anyone gives a rip, is a jab at Captain Zero for erasing her only true accomplishment during her thankfully short term as governor. The Unity Team doesn't light me up but I REFUSE to vote for Sean Parnell!.

She went from endorsing Joe Miller in the primary to backing Walker. Two days ago she told Hannity that the worst Republican was better than the best Democrat. She's trying desperately to rehabilitate her image and Walker is stupidly helping her.

You almost had it Gryph. Here's what's going on in my opinion.

This is another desperate attempt to remain relevant and try to play down the continued fall out from the brawl. Now Sarah knows that Parnell is out. He will not be able to live down the NG scandal and his sell out to the oil companies. Parnell has been covering for her (and himself) all these years.

Do you think Walker owes Sarah anything? Do you think Walker will continue to cover for the Palin's when he walks into the Gov's house and discovers the badly buried bodies?
Sarah thinks he will. 'specially if she gives him her special golden endorsement! You betcha! Continue to think that Sarah, and Bless your Heart.

    A thought!

Palin thinks Parnell might lose his race, so she provides an endorsement to the Unity team and throws them a party in her home in Wasilla on the dead lake that included all their family members and teams!

She's hoping, that due to doing this, the Unity Team will not release the emails and records the State of Alaska has on the Palin klan that are detrimental to them.

Parnell has always kept things under wrap even though Alaska citizens have properly requested copies throughout the years.

They have really fouled things up. I truly think they could have won the race, but don't any longer. Palin is the kiss of death and is not liked in Alaska! Sarah was definitely not a friend of Bill's when she was governor. When she was running, she supported his All Alaska Gasline, but once she got elected, she dropped it like a hot potato. I don't know that politically he could have declined the endorsement, but I sure wish he could have just said "No, thank you." I'm sure her endorsement will lose him as many votes as it will get him.

Two theories--the Palins know the jig is up with Parnell, & are reminding the Unity ticket about some info on certain "goods & services" that might be floating around. Parnell can't say anything because he's in it up to his eyeballs & would be looking at serious jail time. Either way, the Palin crimes remain covered.

#2 Theory--Have to agree with others about this being a diversion from the audio evidence & an attempt to remain relevant, especially in light of the latest SarahPac revelations. It has been remarked upon more than once that she's not been involved in Alaska politics lately.

And of course, neither theory is mutually exclusive. Could be both (& more) at the same time.

Most people think Palin won't run for Pres. I've never been so sure.

She tried to set up input into having a Republican House and Senate thus making it easier to elect a Republican Pres. And I think her mind is so screwed , she thinks she would have a chance.

Then, she goes & supports a Democrat. Then she can say , "I can work across the aisle."

I wouldn't be surprised if she tries to slip into 2016 at all.

It seems Palin wants to sabotage this election by provoking Alaskans. She knows they hate her politics and she knows they don't trust her. So instead of begging them to vote Parnell, her lapdog, she endorses his competition and sticks it in everyone's face that Walker accepts her endorsement and accepts her invitation at a reception in his honor.

She's a snake. Please, Alaska, don't NOT vote just because of Sarah Palin. She wants Parnell to win. She knows he'll keep records sealed.
